“Form ever follows function.” This famous phrase by architect Louis Sullivan, the father of modernism and mentor to Frank Lloyd Wright, is one of the most influential statements in the history of modern architecture. A vision that, in our view, finds coherent and tangible expression in Etoile’s dodici® collection. Here, form follows function not for aesthetic or ideological reasons, but out of design necessity. The project takes shape in one exact measure: twelve (dodici) millimeters. Not a symbolic detail, but a precise construction choice that becomes both a stylistic and technical signature.

dodici® is a comprehensive workstation system designed for the modern workplace: executive desks, shared bench solutions, large meeting tables, and modular storage units. Each element is carefully crafted to ensure maximum functionality with minimal visual impact, featuring essential geometries, technical materials, and a design approach focused on structural and compositional lightness.

Workstations and executive desks: lightness, precision, integration

dodici® workstations move smoothly between individual and shared bench solutions, always following a clear and consistent design: thin profiles, aluminum frames, and transparent feet that create a light, floating look. Glass or panel dividers provide privacy without blocking visual connection.

In the executive version, the system evolves with discretion and authority: desks become larger, incorporating integrated storage units — open or closed — and are enhanced with refined finishes, designed for spaces that are both representative and understated. The dual structure of the storage elements allows for material contrasts or tonal continuity between interior and exterior, creating a carefully balanced interplay of textures and surfaces.

Meeting tables: quiet functionality, bold elegance

The dodici® meeting tables are platforms designed for dialogue. Their generous dimensions rest on a modular structure—visually light, yet solid to the touch. The central technical compartments, made from contrasting materials, can be equipped with electrified trays: everything is wired and ready, yet nothing disturbs the formal balance. Technology and design engage in conversation—always subtle, never loud.
