E.Silent: A New Dimension in Acoustic Design

Walls, ceilings and partitions: presented by Etoile at SICAM 2026, the system expands the design possibilities of PET, including bespoke solutions.

A wall defined by engraved lines, a sequence of ceiling baffles, a screen that shapes a space. With E.Silent, acoustic treatment becomes an integral part of interior design through elements that engage both the eye and the perception of a space.

Etoile presented the system at SICAM 2026, held in Pordenone from 20 to 23 October, introducing professionals to a material that can be configured to meet both functional and aesthetic needs.

Designed for offices, meeting rooms, restaurants, hotels and residential interiors, E.Silent includes panels and configurations that offer solutions at different scales, from architectural surfaces to individual workstations. Sound absorption thus becomes a design choice developed in harmony with geometries, finishes and furnishings.

From Surfaces to Volumes

The six collections: Wall, Ceiling, Modular Ceilings, Baffles, Ceiling Elements and Objects offer a range of application options.

On walls, the panels create smooth surfaces or compositions defined by linear grooves and geometric patterns. For ceilings, surface-mounted, suspended and modular ceiling solutions make it possible to work with continuous surfaces or introduce a more three-dimensional effect.

Baffles define spaces through linear elements and rhythmic sequences, while Ceiling Elements introduces suspended volumes and features that can also help divide interior spaces.

The Objects collection brings the material closer to everyday activities. The freestanding Screen Line screens, also available on castors, help define shared areas, while Desk dividers are designed for benching systems and individual desks.

In workplace environments, this versatility allows different solutions to be considered for meeting rooms, open-plan work areas and individual workstations. The sound-absorbing PET helps control reverberation within a space. The quantity, positioning and installation method should be determined according to the characteristics of the room and its intended use.

Colour Meets Texture

The colour palette features 21 shades that can be combined through contrasting combinations or tonal harmonies, while preserving the natural texture of the felt. Surface treatments offer further design possibilities: fine lines, geometric patterns and curved motifs bring rhythm and character to the surfaces.

A panel can blend seamlessly with existing finishes or become a defining design feature. A composition can follow the lines of the furniture, highlight a specific area or introduce a contrasting colour accent. Whatever the shape or application, the material maintains a consistent design language.

At the heart of the system is felt made from 100% PET, containing 60% post-consumer recycled material sourced from plastic bottles.

Beyond Standard Configurations

The catalogue provides a starting point for the development of bespoke solutions. In collaboration with Etoile’s technical team, shapes, dimensions, textures and decorative patterns can be customised to meet specific aesthetic, dimensional and acoustic requirements.

This is where designers gain an additional degree of creative freedom: adapting the design to the geometry of a space, aligning surface treatments with the identity of an interior, or developing a configuration for a specific surface.

With E.Silent, the acoustic character of a space becomes an integral part of the design vision, reflecting the creativity and intent of those who shape it.
