“Match” starts in Perugia the cycle of themed meeting with design professionals

Etoile launches its ‘travelling event’ bringing together designers and creatives to share ideas and insights around the key concepts behind the E-Box project

This video marks the launch of ‘Match’, a travelling event our company has conceived in order to engage designers and creatives in inspiring dialogues and debates about the quality and values of everyday working and living spaces

This event will take place in a few Italian cities, where three professionals will discuss four key topics that inspired our E.Box project: the correlation between sound and noise, silence and concentration, isolation and privacy, modularity and flexibility.

These topics will be the leitmotif of a free and open ‘dialogic debate’, a sort of brainstorming led by the ‘voice-over’ of Art Director Paolo Pampanoni, who will explore both the design and conceptual implications of different creative and professional experiences.

The outcome of this ‘Match’ will then be posted in our ‘Mag’ and on all of Etoile’s social channels.

The ‘Match’ opening event, which you can enjoy in the video below, had three important guests:

Andrea Dragoni

Architect

Graduated with Paolo Zermani from Florence’s Faculty of Architecture, Dragoni previously lectured at the Milan Polytechnic and is currently a lecturer at the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering of Perugia Univeristy. His work is internationally recognised, with awards such as the Architectural Record Design Vanguard Award, the Architectural Review Emerging Architecture Awards, the German Design Award and the Architizer A+Award in the ‘Architecture+Light’ section.

Andrea Pascucci

Designer

Multi-talented professional, he began his career after graduating from the University of Camerino. With more than 20 years of experience, his studio spans several areas, focusing on materials, colours, shapes and above all light. He co-operates with as many craftsmen as possible, which he is keen to push beyond their habits. He is president of ADI Umbria and lecturer at the engineering department in Perugia.

Elisabetta Furin

University Lecturer

Graduated cum laude in Industrial Design at La Sapienza University of Rome, Furin teaches Design at the ‘Pietro Vannucci’ Academy and at the University of Perugia, where she currently holds the professorship in Retail Design. She co-operated with leading Italian and international companies and received awards such as the Italy Prestige Award in 2021 and the A’Design Award in 2023.

As you will soon find out, ‘Match’ is the perfect meeting point between a reality like Etoile, a company constantly confronted with a rapidly evolving market in its search for innovative materials, techniques and technologies, and the brightest minds of the Italian design scene, bringing fresh insights and significant inspiration for future design choices.
